The MPA Hall of Honor (HOH) was established to recognize and honor the men and women who have exhibited distinguished service and been instrumental in shaping the platforms, personnel, systems, and war fighting capabilities of the MPR community. As such, inductees must have had a significant and long-lasting impact on the community and their nomination must address the criteria established below. Individuals considering submitting nominations must ensure that their candidate’s accomplishments and contributions are indeed worthy of consideration for this prestigious award. Once a nomination is submitted, it will go to the MPA Hall of Honor Team to determine if the individual, based on the information submitted, will be considered for placement on the MPA website to be formally nominated for potential selection. Individuals will go through a comprehensive review process and if selected to the Hall of Honor, be recognized at the Heritage Dinner, or the MPA Ball, during the annual Maritime Patrol Association Symposiums.
